Forsaken

A while ago I came across an amazing scarecrow drawing on Deviantart. I knew I had to make a scarecrow like it. Here's the drawing that inspired me by artist Clearharm.




















Below is my completed version called Forsaken. My intention was to build him as he looks in the drawing. However as my work on him progressed, it started to go in a slightly different direction. I'm very pleased with the end result.
I braved the elements and snapped some shots near our neighbor's farmfield. Of course I had to take pictures on one of the coldest days of the year with a biting northerly wind. Nearly got frostbite for my efforts but it was well worth it.

  6. Excellent work my friend. Personally, the top photo is my favorite. I like the layout of the bottom photo, but the colors are a bit distracting to me. But I definitely like your interpretation much better than the original drawing
