Stocking Cap

Here is a bucky I corpsed a long time ago. He's pretty bad looking and I'm kind of embarrassed to post it but thought this was kind of a neat pic with the snow. Better to hang him from a tree than keep taking up space in my shed. I don't care about what happens to him so I decided to just leave him up through the winter.

  1. hilarious! do people do a double take when they go past your house? (he doesn't look bad at all...looks real authentic!)

  2. Ha. Actually he's back in the woods behind our house. Whenever anyone goes back there I tell them that's what I do with trespassers.

  4. He's not too bad at all. I like the look of him. If you're not happy with him, let me ask, what would you do differently if you were to start new?

  5. SK- Great question...Maybe I shouldn't have said he's bad looking, but instead say he could have been much better. Here's what I would have done different. Done a better job of corpsing and concealing joints so it doesn't say "I'm a bucky under this". The teeth could look way better and the overall paint job is too bland. Some areas of exposed bone didn't get stained therefore do not have a realistic aged look. What bugged me the most is he didn't seem to have any kind of "expression" other than an open mouth. That's my laundry list of complaints about him. :)
